The Skill Training for Labours

Fifteen female are workers enthusiastically listening to an explanation given by an officer from Manpower Service of Jember Regency that afternoon. On the last 12th of July  2011, in its attempt to improve the quality of human resources, PT. Mangli Djaya Raya cooperate with Manpower Service of Jember Regency to hold a skill training for labours in a specifically Processing Vocation.

The activity includes the training on how to make snacks and soft drinks, such as fish meatballs, soymilk, and shredded meat from fish. The objective of the training is not only to improve the skill of the labours but also to allow them to practice what they have learned from the training which will eventually increase their income and create their own business.

The training is scheduled to be continually held in every unit of PT.Mangli Djaya Raya. The aim is to give all female workers at all units the same amount of knowledge from the training.

Mrs. Endah, a representative from Manpower Service of Jember Regency expressed her happiness for both being given a chance by PT. MDR to present the training and being able to feel the enthusiasm of the participants. “The participants’ enthusiasm to learn something new is incredibly high. We hope that what we have taught them through the training will be found beneficial both for them and also for the improvement of the economy in their neighbourhood.
